User Testing

I ran a usability testing with two target users because both of them care about their daily food. They did the testing with low-fidelity wireframes and gave me some valuable feedback.

Testing Result

  • When the tester goes to visit the "Balanced Nutrition Suggestion" page, she thinks that the secondary button is necessary so that she can have a look for the full recipes.
  • When the tester goes to visit the "Scan Food" page, she likes to have a secondary button that can scan again this food or other foods.

Testing Result

  • When the tester goes to visit the "Member Works" page, she thinks that the function "Blog" should not belong to this section, it should be in the Control Panel so that user can easy to find it.
  • When the tester goes to visit the "Video Tutorial" page, she feels that the "Social Media" section should be included on this page.

Reflection

Key takeaways from this project

I enjoy the design process for this case study. This case includes UX/UI, advertising, prototyping, and websites. Firstly, the topic that I chose is highly related to my daily life so that I can see a lot of opportunities in the project. Then, optimizing all aspects of information, such as researches, wireframes, and user testing, gave me a great chance to improve my design thinking skill. Finally, designing not only the application but also the product let me understand making the connection between hardware and software.
